Powerful and high quality.

Arrived earlier than planned. The work I needed to do was on a UTV that could work in tight spaces. I was only able to get one of the hooks on each end to grab the spring coil. I tightened the spring tension on each side and there was no problem with that. None of the hooks are broken or bent. I was very impressed with this tool. I was expecting to throw it away after one use, but instead it sits in my tool box until I need it again.

Helps incredibly!

A powerful assembly helped depressurize, replace and remove a severely rattling strut from my car. Although I used a percussion gun for decompression. Turning with a ratchet was too tedious and required a lot of muscle power and turning. In general. I am satisfied with my experience and my purchase. It seems to me that it will be a few years before I have to buy a new set. UPDATE 04/08/19 I've been using it on my passenger side pillars and the bolts seem to be loosening? I hope they last aโ€ฆ

They compressed the spring as much as I needed and then a little. So overall these things will do their job but I would recommend finding a way to make sure they are compatible with your coil springs before you buy, they are definitelyโ€ฆ

It worked but not ideal for my smaller nibs.

I just replaced the rear struts on my 2001 Grand Prix and reused the springs and dusters but I didn't want to pay a lot for a limited use tool...so I bought this one. That's enough research and the bars were actually thicker than my coil springs. The problem was the springs only had 3 coils to use the tool but they were weak springs so it did the job. The main problem was the lack of space, so I could only use the ratchet on one side and had to use the ring spanner on the other side because the
