This is a good set of overall functional bits, all with a serious design flaw. The tips of these bits are flat and blunt. There is no match between pilot hole drill and self-drilling screw size. VIX bits should have slightly tapered noses that match the dimensions and angles of pan head wood screws. The drills in the VIX bit must meet the pre-drilling requirements for VIX bit screws. Buy some real VIX bits and you won't regret it. Don't buy these good but flawed tools.
