other reviews made me doubt the attitude. But I was set up in minutes without reading any instructions. I simply connected the speakers, pressed the sync button on the control panel and the speakers until the light started flashing rapidly. Then it just synced. The goal is to have solid lighting everywhere, a subwoofer, speakers and the panel itself. The sound is ok. Some static noises can be heard at different times. But I'll certainly get used to it and don't want to go back to 3.1. This is my first install of 5.1. I bought a bar and sub early last year and decided to finally upgrade to 5.1. I say do it if you were on the fence. Now I'm watching Oblivion to check the audio. As long as it sounds good. Much luck
