Bought 4 x 16GB chips to get the most out of my iMac 5K 27" 2017. Everything works fine! I understand Crucial says there is another memory that is specifically designed and tested for iMac ; noted. There must be a target, but it is exactly as per the spec listed on Apple's memory installation support page. I can also report that the installation was incredibly easy. Located on the back of the computer a small door where the memory slots are located. Just a note for owners of the smaller 21.5" iMac 4K. Installing memory on a smaller iMac is NOT a simple process and is not supported by Apple. I believe it is are 21.5-inch memory upgrade kits, and the process is quite intrusive and risky.
