Review on 🧢 Silvalume 11193: Straight, 10-Inch Knitting Needles – Superior Quality for Precision Crafting by Jennifer Roberts

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Slippery, which can be good or bad.

Excellent, light and strong. They make a very pleasant noise when knitting. The ONLY downside to using these needles (and that says nothing about these specific needles, just metal needles in general) is that there is no friction for the stitches already cast on. This isn't a bad thing when knitting, it even makes the chain stitches very smooth. The problem is that if you put off knitting to go to the toilet or somewhere else, the needle will fall out of the loops completely. It might not be as noticeable on the smaller needles, but the tension on these isn't as tight either because they make such large stitches.

Pros
  • Highly rated by testers for grip and durability
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
