Review on UPERFECT Automatic Touchscreen: 15.6" Ultrawide Frameless Portable Screen with 3840X2160 Resolution by Matt Boyd

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is a wonderful 15.6 inch external monitor.

I have used it as my main monitor when using my Dell XPS 13 on my desktop. I have provided some photos. NOTE: This portable monitor appears to be on a monitor stand. yes this one This doesn't happen. But I've been doing this for a while - finding and using external LCD monitors - with laptops when using them on a desk. I'll come back to that. This monitor is great. The color looks amazing. Outstanding brightness. Easy controls and great controls including on screen controls that pop up to control the brightness (by touching the screen) when you press the power button. With a power adapter and a couple of ways to connect to a computer, everything is fine. As you can see, I connect it to a Belkin hub using a mini-DHMI cable (included) which provides additional ports and power for my Dell XPS. The setup just works perfectly. The screen is amazing. More on some of the shots later. About the stand. I bought it not to travel with, but because none of the major computer companies seemed to see the (obvious) need to manufacture and supply high quality 15" or 17" desktop monitors. What to do if you cramp? They want everyone to have 27 inch monitors and up. Well that's not what I want. UPERFECT does exactly what I want here. Well how did I do it? I have some velcro (3" long but you can do this with any velcro you like to work with). I have an old vintage Dell monitor stand. That metal section at the top, a square section that you can attach a real monitor to , creates a LARGE space for the velcro. Close the same spot on the monitor with the other side of the velcro and you're done. The stand for this leans back (not necessarily) and lifts up from the back between the stand and the screen. When you do this you need to check what stand option you have and check the fold gap carefully before you start working on the velcro.I am absolutely satisfied with this monitor.[SURE: If you make a version of this with the right stand bet I know you will sell a bunch of these. Almost one makes high quality monitors in smaller sizes.]
