Review on Mishimoto Low-Temperature Racing Thermostat (MMTS-RAM-99L) - Compatible with Dodge Cummins 5.9L & 6.7L (1999-2013) by Ashutosh Takumatla

I installed in my 2004 piston diesel. So I went on vacation to tow a big trailer. I thought cooling would help. The thermostat fell apart, the washer fell off the bottom and clogged my cooling system. Horribly overheated until I got to an auto parts store in Tennessee and replaced it with a stock AutoZone unit. It cost me an extra day on the road. I missed my 50th Annual Fourth of July River Walk while on vacation. Cost me hundreds of dollars and nearly cost a diesel engine pulling out a small steel disc that clogged the cooling. The spring hit the engine from below the thermostat. Haven't found it yet. What a horrible piece of crap that thermostat was. ruined my vacation
