Sounds more like a paper shredder than a floppy disk drive.

I was initially happy with this drive as it worked with a Windows 10 PC, but after about two hours of cumulative use the drive started making noises like it was chewing discs instead of reading them and it started up to refuse to read disks. Luckily this happened within the 30 day return period so everything was back to normal.

Pros

EASY OPERATION - Plug and play, no extra drivers required, just plug directly into the USB socket, the driver will be automatically installed by itself, trouble-free. Powered directly from the USB port. USB 1.1/2.0 compliant. DO NOT SUPPORT USB 3.0.
