I bought these to hang lights on my trailer curtain. I use the clip feature for the battery portion of the string of lights and the hook for the lights along the string. Works great, only takes a few minutes to set up and take down. During Florida thunderstorms, easy disassembly is very important. Highly recommended. The cost is so cheap I bought two boxes and used both, one box per string of lights. You could probably use less than one block per line, but since I have two blocks I'll just use them all. I've noticed that they stay in place even in windy conditions.
