I had a cheap handheld radio that stopped working. I was delighted to find it at such a great price! I like the ability to charge from a solar panel as well as power or connect a computer. I assume you can also connect to the wall. The weather station is very handy, as is the flashlight. And being able to charge my phone with it in an emergency is fantastic. It's cute and compact for such a powerful little device. We bought one for ourselves and one for my 96 year old mother-in-law who still lives alone.
