Review on Energy Suspension 11 18102R MASTER SET by Jerry Delozier

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Worth the effort. - Body bushings

Installed on my 1997 Mazda Miata, 104,000 miles. Installation takes a long time, but with the multi-link suspension it's a whole bunch of bushings. This gave me the perfect opportunity to clean and inspect many items that you don't normally dig into. Replaced my noisy rear wheel bearings while I had them and upgraded all the brakes. Removing the old bushings was easy with my torch and air hammer, but I would suggest having protection (paper, plastic, buckets, drip pans, anything) under your work area. as the melted rubber once cooled becomes permanent and sticky and easily transfers to the shoes or anything they touch. Very dirty stuff. I suggest marking the alignment cams as well before releasing them to give you a good base alignment when you're back together. Alignment must be done after installation. Installing the new bushings was easy. I recommend measuring and marking each with a permanent marker before working as many jacks and sockets are very similar in size and you don't want to mix them up. power level. Maybe for another car. This set is built to last for years. I wouldn't recommend doing it yourself unless you are mechanically competent as the suspension is a pretty important element. All this to say that once completed I couldn't be happier with the new feel of the car. It took the already excellent handling to a higher level. Handles bumpy corners well and just drives straight down the road. Good deal, worth the money and effort!
