runs on Debian, not plug and play

I bought it on purpose because it was sold as Linux compatible. You weren't wrong, it worked great for me. Installation wasn't difficult. The driver on the CD didn't work so I went to the Cudy website and downloaded the latest driver. I followed the instructions and everything went well. Remember that the instructions require you to open a terminal at the file location. Make, make-install and 2 mod-probe commands. That's all. I got 200Mbps+ with it. The antenna is mounted with a SMA socket (the USB end is male). So if you want to move/replace the antenna you will need a male to female cable.
