I have to admit that this product is very well made. It feels good, the connection fits perfectly and is more durable than the OEM connector. BUT: No matter what I tried, I couldn't get power to the trailer cables. The quick connect just wasn't sharp enough to cut through the insulation and couldn't make contact. I even tried stripping the wires and connecting them by hand and even though the LEDs lit up, no power came through. Even if it worked that way I would have to solder the connection to hold it in place which defeats the whole purpose of the purchase. I see that others have succeeded, but unfortunately not me. Maybe it's just a bad block.
