Amazing tool - ideal for electrician work on switches
Purchased to tighten switch and mounting plate connections to the latest NEC requirements so everything can be tightened. The adjustment key is stowed in the handle and this tool is very easy to adjust to the desired torque range. Make sure you select the correct model for the torque range and select "variable" instead of "preset". I bought a 25-50 inch variable torque version that is easily adjustable in the field with the included wrench. I believe that the "pre-installed" version is much more difficult to change and better suited to a production environment where you don't want employees to change settings.
