I bought a CAI Typhoon system for a 2006 MINI Cooper. Sorry, with compressor. Delivery was on time. It was a very simple setup. I'm sure the HP increased a bit, but probably by 5 HP. The real benefit comes in combination with the larger manifold, free-wheeling spool and tailpipe, allowing the engine to move more air through the intake/exhaust system. However, the "howl" of the compressor under load at high revs sounds quite nice! Yes, and under the hood is very nice. I would recommend this system to anyone wanting to open exhaust restriction points. Otherwise, a simple K&N air filter change works almost as efficiently, but is cheaper.
