I can't say enough about the performance of the bottle. All I know is that there was no way to reliably protect this in my Critter Nation cage. It doesn't have a notch like some feather bottles, and it doesn't have a flat side, and the feather is ALL it has, so it started slipping right away. I would not stay there at all. Confident that it would fall and break to death, I immediately took it off. Disappointed. I will say that it took a little time to refuel. The water didn't flow out for a long time, although I kept tapping the ball. At some point it started to flow. I will never know if she would have continued working or not.
