Review on SUNLU Filament: Enhanced Dimensional Accuracy for 3D Printing by Ralph Gerry

Print EXCELLENT (sometimes)

Looks fantastic when printed correctly. BUT I have one thing (it could be the printer. Not sure) but it sticks VERY badly. If you print too slowly OR too fast, paper jams will occur and the print job will fail. ALSO temperatures I've tried many different ones to solve this problem with different speeds etc. For me 30mm/s seems to work at 200°C build plate adhesion. I print at 10mm/s and use a glue stick to glue it to a heated glass plate (83c) with glue works great. but I have to be sure to use a thin knife to remove the pressure from the glass when it's still hot or it will stick like crazy glue (just heat it up and then peel it off with the knife). Fantastic prints. (I print with this material at 0.2mm on a 0.4mm printer). This is by far the most difficult material I have attempted to print as it is very sensitive to tempo and speed. (FYI, without school glue it won't stick to my heated glass bed).

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Expensive
