At first we were reluctant to pay that much for a wooden bath mat but after a few weeks of use I can honestly say this product is well worth it. There are other cheaper options and there are more expensive options. For us it was the perfect price. It is high quality, looks very nice and is ideal as a bath mat. Teak lies nicely on the feet and dries fairly quickly. It also has some springiness, which is nice too. I will caution you to measure what area you will be using this mat on before purchasing. that thing is pretty big. Luckily we had a room in front of the shower, but that can be a problem with cramped bathrooms. Also, be careful when driving past it. Because it's raised about an inch and a half off the ground, it's like a toe magnet. In the first week I almost bruised my toes about 10 times. Now that we're used to it, we don't have this problem anymore. I wouldn't recommend this solution for young children either, for the reasons just listed. This product also works very well as a rug outside a porch or pool area. Enjoy!
