The drill head seems decent although it has a visible run out so I didn't even point it out. It's a boring head, so it "runs out" once you set it up. Lies firmly in the hand, the adjustment is quite easy. Drill rods are terrible - even aluminum can't be cut out of the box. I've licked one on a grinding wheel to give it some relief and an edge and it works well. Time will tell how long the carbide will hold the edge. I can cut a flat surface for the set screw so it doesn't twist in the holder while drilling. All in all, while the value for money is reasonable, just buy some suitable drill rods or prepare to recycle the ones included in the kit to craft them. cut. The head alone probably justifies the cost.
