I bought this for a one car garage door that sticks a little, so I wanted a more powerful unit to ensure it was strong enough to lift the door in spite of the stickiness. Anyway, it was a straight forward install, though I did install the lifting mechanism and the overhead rail off center because the door did not have a frame member in its center. The best feature was how he unit is self-calibrating on its first trip up and down as far as setting the strength of the lift and the point at which the door is closed and the unit needs to stop. The remote units are also pre-programmed so no need to mess with those either. I think this unit is a good value for its price. It is not one of the more popular openers and therefore does not command the premium those units do, but it is just as good is just as good as they are in my opinion.John Michael Huberty, Anoka Attorney
