This cap is not an original Kohler part

I do not recommend this cap. I bought one along with a Kohler GP800820 pressure equalizer and it didn't work at all. It fitted well and all, but when I turned on the water the shower valve didn't stop the flow of water. Put the old cap back on and it worked. I ended up going to a home store to get a genuine Kohler part #GP77759 which worked great. This is a replacement part and not worth the few bucks you can save compared to Kohler parts.
