Affordable hub for my Surface Pro

I chose the LINKUP 8-in-1 hub to see if I could add a large monitor, keyboard, ethernet and more to my new Surface Pro can connect. I've only had a few weeks of use, but this was an inexpensive way to make those connections. My only concern is that the hub will heat up a bit. Will it continue? Hopefully. My colleague went with a Microsoft hub, which costs many times more than a LINKUP hub.
