I didn't think I could replace my previous MCO (Microwave Convection Oven) but I did. Sharp still makes a similar (if not identical) product that I bought 23 years ago. Some people think that the power of microwaves is small (930W), and that may be true. I mainly use combined microwave/convection and only convection modes. The dimensions and weight have stayed the same, and the weight saved suggests to me that the quality of the components hasn't gone down. The touch cooking menu is extensive and the touch cooking is very accurate. It has a carousel that eliminates the temperature sensor function, and an option to rotate and sensor lock would be nice, but I never really felt the need for that on the previous model. In general, it can probably do everything you want it to and then some.
