MIPS Enhanced Head Protection - Seller Overpriced - Poor Helmet Fitting Instructions

When I found out about MIPS helmets I decided to buy a new helmet with this feature. I've never needed a bike helmet, but after falling off a broken ladder, which resulted in a severe concussion, it took me 18 months to fully recover. I appreciate the value of the very best bike helmet. The installation instructions are terrible. There are three adjustment mechanisms and the instructions only cover one of the three. I had to search YouTube for third party videos showing how best to fit the helmet to my head. My first Bell helmet was bought in 1974 and it was a terrible design with very little airflow. Wearing it meant a high chance of heat stroke, which is why I never ride it on long trips. With current helmet designs this is not a problem and there are almost too many helmets to choose from. As for the MIPS helmet, I narrowed my choices down to the Lazer helmet and this one from Bell. The Lazer has a design flaw in that it has a plastic adjuster that hit my head and was very uncomfortable to wear. The Z20 has a great fitting design and overall I find Bell helmets to be the most comfortable to wear while riding. Removed 75% of my selection. Luckily, a mid-size Bell Z20 MIPS helmet was available.
