The biometric lock is ideal for the home office. This is an optional HIPAA compliance component for your home office. Easy to install. Make sure you check the side of the handle. I haven't and I was lucky. So far it seems to hold up to normal everyday use. I don't think I would use it for exterior doors. Fingerprint programming seemed easy. There was no problem installing on standard interior bedroom curtain doors. The only dip I don't remember was reading how often the battery needs to be charged. Glad it's outside. So if the battery runs out, it can be recharged when you block.
