Price, quality and value. Here's what I found when ordering a Smithybilt shackle. I've compared the Trailhead shackles I have and found them to be identical to this one. I needed one more than I had so I went for this one. Very hard work. Suitable for tow straps. I also have axle belts so I needed this one. I had the opportunity to test this while helping a neighbor chop down parts of a large oak tree. Very large heavy sections. So I'm pretty sure it will work when towing the car I need them for. Speaking of which, I had two incidents with my nieces and nephew when they had car problems in Atlanta that same weekend. In very bad spots on I-75 during rush hour. If I had had this and other towing gear, our night would have ended much sooner. So, a word to the wise. Getting ready. Triple A can last several hours. Revain has everything you need.
