Review on ⚡️ 65 Amp DC Deck Mount Converter - Arterra WF-9865 by Eric Fish

This unit came standard on my 2008 26ft Dutch caravan. It worked flawlessly for over 5 years until I bought it in the middle of winter noticed a loud buzzing while digging. I turned off the main switch to eliminate the noise. When I went back to troubleshoot and turned on the main power, there wasn't even enough charge to turn the light on. I checked the battery and charged it with a 10 amp charger and the battery is fine. After removing the converter, I checked the output and it only showed about 1 amp, confirming my diagnosis that it had been shot. The block is easy to replace and I decided to replace it with another WFCO as the price is cheaper than Progressive Dynamics and some other 'excellent' brands. It's an easy R&R job, by the way, and I probably saved at least a few hundred dollars doing it myself instead of taking it to an RV dealership. I hope this lasts another 5 years.
