This is an overview (and guide with suggestions) for anyone who wants to use this product. 2 things to note. An external power supply is not supplied with this device. The specs show 2 amps (I used a 1 amp block I got from my Palm product a few years ago) from the USB port, which is fine if you have a gaming system or computer with an open Use USB connection. Second, the password on the back of the device (which is very clearly displayed) is for the SSID, not for logging into the web browser on the device 192.168.254.254. I used this device to connect a network printer. Works perfectly. It took me 20 minutes to set it up. These are the steps I used. 1.) Connect to a computer (USB and RJ45). Set your network to 192.168.254.52 (this will be a physical {non-wireless} network). Log in as an administrator, administrator. Connect to your wireless network. by adding a passphrase, and then check the box to disable DHCP. (NOTE: I disabled hotspot because I don't need it). Change the IP address to be on your 192.168.x.50 network. (use IPCONFIG and then PING to make sure it's available). In a web browser, you must restart your device to save the changes. Finally, disconnect the physical connection and ping the device to make sure it's working properly. When I unplugged the device and moved it to a permanent location, it took almost 2 minutes for it to show up. Be patient. The device heats up even at an output of 1 ampere. This may mean it burns out, but time will tell. For 19.99 I'm glad to have a mobile printer. Have fun!
