It's a standard cheap rubber hose with a very poor quality braided cover
I'm beginning to realize that Specter is an alias for cheap. This is not a comparable product to Russell, Earls or any other major automotive plumbing hose. This is a standard cheap rubber hose with a very inferior braided cover. The product I received is fading between weaves, has a "crumpled" appearance in a few places and generally has a poor finish. I hope this is all cosmetic and actually contains fuel. I've driven it about 2,000 miles with no problems, but it looks terrible in my clean and shiny engine bay.
