Poor workmanship - replacement parts

Just got the fuel line. Upon initial inspection, there are several spots on the hose where the steel braid is broken and worn. Sending the tube back is no problem (you can just wrap the spots with emergency tape), but I'm not thrilled.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Working speed

Exactly what I needed.

This fuel line is easy to use, good quality and just what I needed to complete my TigerLoop Ultra installation on my boiler. In my application, this element is under vacuum, not pressure, so your results may vary. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • So far so good

This is a good deal for braided line

This is a good deal for braided line and a little cheaper than the Specter items sold in stores. I used bits and pieces to install a custom electric fuel pump. I didn't like the idea of a piece of plain rubber hose dangling under the car where it could get damaged, so with some proper fittings this stuff worked and it looks really nice.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Piggy bank price

The braid has many cuts and minor damage and compared to other braids I've bought here at Revain it was of excellent quality. The weaving itself is not very high quality, thin and weak. I had to try and finish all the little scratches and scuffs but they're still noticeable so I tucked that line in the frame guides so that in the end it's all good and I didn't have to deal with returns. My fault I went at a cheaper rate this time.

Pros
  • Nicely packaged
Cons
  • So so

It's a standard cheap rubber hose with a very poor quality braided cover

I'm beginning to realize that Specter is an alias for cheap. This is not a comparable product to Russell, Earls or any other major automotive plumbing hose. This is a standard cheap rubber hose with a very inferior braided cover. The product I received is fading between weaves, has a "crumpled" appearance in a few places and generally has a poor finish. I hope this is all cosmetic and actually contains fuel. I've driven it about 2,000 miles with no problems, but it looks terrible in my clean…

SS fuel/oil/transmission hoses

I am very happy with this purchase. The quality of rubber compared to silicone is tremendous. especially when the rubber is wrapped with braided stainless steel. Not difficult to cut if you have something that fits the diameter of the tubing. I managed to clamp the tubing and cut it with new large wire cutters. As long as you research sizing for your car and make sure you order slightly smaller or exact sizes, you'll be gold (or stainless steel). I don't need hose clamps. All hoses were…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Bad impression

Cheap price but equal to the quality of the hose.

It was a good price so I chose it but the quality is very low and probably worth the price. If I had more time to return it and buy a higher quality fuel line I would. Unfortunately this line was used to fix my boat just before the bank holiday weekend and I didn't have time to find another brand. I was able to get it to work but when I got it there were broken 4 wires on my fuel line, at these points you can actually see the black rubber hose under the braid. I get stung with these threads…
