Review on Attwood 1731 4 Blower White 3 Inch by David Garnic

The fans on my 1997 Chaparral 260 Sig were very loud and quite original in appearance (yes, my boat came with two from the factory). This is the "3000" series that was in the boat, so it's a direct replacement. I put a rubber gasket between the fan and the fiberglass to eliminate resonance. The new blowers are very quiet and use a lot less power (I would turn on my old ones and the battery gauge would actually go down a bit). Now the captain doesn't complain about the noise at all! The exchange lasted about an hour.
