Remote Control EPC Code on 08 Beetle

We had an EPC code on our 08 Beetle. Our code reader said that was this part. My son changed it when it arrived and he erased the code. This was one of the cheapest/easiest repairs on any of our Volkswagens. The part has been on the car for over a month and it still works.
