Almost impossible to drive them fully into concrete. I bought a box and used it to mount 2x4s and they seemed tough but not too terrible. The impact wrench often jumped out of the screw. A few months later I attempted to anchor elfa's top mount into concrete, which means screwing it in 1.5 inches lower than before. Either EVERY screw stopped turning or the percussion instrument popped out. Insert SDS 3/16" one inch deeper than the screw, then vacuum the hole. I then torque the screw with a square bit using a newer high end DeWalt impact wrench set on 2nd speed. Tapcons were tough ,but not as bad as screws. This makes me lean dangerously hard towards the driver.I tried new beats and fancy drum beats, only lots of frustration and marks on the wall as the drum came out of the screw.move or the driver jumps out the prop head and damaged everything.I gave up in desperation, bought a box of taps and was able to finish the job with no drama, maybe only 1 prop jump out of 10 instead of 3 prop jumps.I messed up about 6 screws and maybe 15 screws messing around with CONFAST have. Not the biggest thing, but I've never seen anything like it. So if you buy CONFAST, you're only turning small screws. Also, buy a ton more than you did Really need and only use them for things you want to wall mount that you don't have to worry about getting damaged if they get stuck in your wall and your percussion instrument pops out.
