I broke the key in my old lock cylinder and couldn't get it out. I was going to take it to a locksmith but thought of checking with Revain to see how much a replacement would cost. I was surprised that it cost less than $8 so I decided to give it a try. It was pretty easy to install. There were 2 screws on the inside door handle, disassemble, take out the old cylinder, snap the stem of the new cylinder to fit the old one and reassemble. Literally a 5 minute operation. Incidentally, the new cylinder was a bit sloppy in the old spring clip that holds it in the door. I just squeezed the old spring clip with pliers to squeeze it a bit, put the cylinder back in and then it fit perfectly. The new lock works great! Highly recommended. And MUCH cheaper than going to the locksmith!
