Review on Electric scooter MIDWAY i-One, up to 120 kg, gray by Czeslawa Winski ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good value for money, I recommend it.

Total: The scooter was bought for an economical summer alternative to the bus to the metro / car. This is the thing that was supposed to pay off according to forecasts for 2.5 seasons. And turn daily trips on hot days into a cool activity. In terms of money, the scooter is unlikely to pay off . What can not be said about emotions :) I RECOMMEND EVERYONE not be afraid to fly off the warranty and immediately waterproof the scooter. In my experience, it is clear that 2.5 thousand for waterproofing is definitely cheaper than a 14.5k repair. I have not studied the 2022 market, but I assume that this is still the most worthy budget option for tall people.

Pros
  • The scooter was bought that year for about 22k. + For its price it is very stylish, looks expensive, no wires stick out + Suitable for tall people (I'm 190, handles at a comfortable level) + Approximately ideal for the scenario: Get to the metro -> Metro -> Get to work/study and back. The charge is enough for me personally. + Long deck. It is convenient to ride together if you are not heavy. However, in the subway, this is rather a minus, they stumble over it if they can’t get comfortable.
Cons
  • - Waterproof. All last season I skated mostly. Got caught in a little rain and everything seemed to be ok. The strong ones survived. However, when he let another person use the scooter, he rode in heavy rain and the error immediately caught fire. Judging by it - there was something with the wiring at the helm. I did not open it, I was afraid to lose the warranty, because I thought that if the steering wheel got a little wet, it was not critical. The next season I took it to repair - it turns out EVERYTHING was flooded. The battery, the control unit - everything rusted over the winter and became unusable. Everything cost 17k (with waterproofing). And this is almost the price of buying a scooter. It is encouraging that its price has grown over the year. - The bolts between the steering column and the deck are loosened a little. But this is probably due to the fact that I jump on the curbs and we often ride together. Tightening the bolts corrects the situation.
