This is an American Staffordshire Terrier that is a little larger, around 90 pounds, and this collar fits him with no problems. I've bought other collars in the past that didn't fit his oversized neck. For an inexpensive collar, this is acceptable. I wouldn't use this to walk a dog on a leash that's pulling anyway. In an emergency, it will do what is necessary.
