Review on πŸ”§ Hi-Lift Jack PP-300 Post Popper: Efficient Tool for Hassle-Free Post Removal by Brad Fleming

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Heavy Duty in Tools & Equipment

Ideal Post Puller. The only problem is they really need to sell an extension handle that is more than twice the length of the lever arm. I couldn't get the 7ft pins (2ft hammered) out with the stock grip. I was able to pull out a few 4 foot stakes with the stock handle. Better technique reduces the amount of brute force required. Place the base close to the post, no more than 1 inch from it. Otherwise, most of your power will be pulled forward instead of up. Vigorously rock the stake back and forth in the direction of the "wing" to loosen the soil. You can also use a pickaxe, backhoe, or my favorite, a 1-inch drill bit, to loosen up the soil. lever arm. I would remove the hook if you are not going to use it. It only impedes the movement of the unit. The hook has a small hole, so check it carefully before you buy a chain. This device is pretty solid, but I would still recommend heavy duty gloves and goggles.
