UPDATE: I had my first failed print with this PLA. Then I had the 2nd, 3rd and 4th misprint. Forget the whole first impression judgement, it was awful and now I've deleted it from my Lessons Learned closet. I had to take care of the role all the time. The PLA is glued to the roll and must be pulled apart by hand to keep it flowing. The filament itself prints well, but the hassle of manually pulling every inch off the spool to feed it into the printer is nearly impossible for longer prints. I have adjusted the stars in my rating accordingly. I give 1 star for the price and 1 star for the print quality. I'm deducting 3 stars because while the print comes out good it's almost impossible to use like an automated process, which is important for products that sometimes take 20 hours or more. I'm new to 3D printing and just bought my first machine, an Ender 3 Pro, last week, so keep that in mind in my opinion and in a review. Also, I haven't made my first print with it yet, so keep that in mind. I bought this filament firstly because I wanted white (my other colors are just black and red) and secondly because I wanted to see what the cheapest PLA I could find was. My other thread is Inland PLA+ and I'm very happy with it. The first thing that struck me about this yarn is that it's a bit stiffer than the Inland PLA+ I use. IDK, what does that mean in terms of the finished product. The second thing I noticed is that it's not just white like I expected/wanted. I wanted it to print skulls, but as it turns out this PLA has a satin finish or something. It's more like pearl white or chrome white or something like that. It's not terrible and I'm happy to add variety to my thread collection, I just wasn't expecting it for my immediate purpose. Something you should know before you buy. I did not know. As for the actual printing, it's working well so far. My first print failed because the filament pulled out of the table, but this is also my first time using a smooth plate from Creality and I'm pretty sure it has more to do with it than this filament . a bit for this PLA compared to the other I've used so far. With Inland PLA+ I successfully printed at a nozzle temperature of 210°, but in this case the temperature dropped to 195°. I can't tell you if this is the best pace or not until I've at least finished the first full print, but so far it seems good - around 20% in this print. Overall I'll say it's a decent value for now, but I'll update this review if that opinion changes after a few full prints. It's about 20% cheaper than the PLA+ I have at Micro Center, so I'll probably buy more if those first two pairs are okay. I will not count on getting the exact color or style I expect for future purchases. Until I buy all the colors, they will be randomly added to my color collection. I will and recommend others to shop elsewhere for certain colors as the unexpected silky sheen and very bright white are the only complaints I have about it. That probably wouldn't have been a problem for me either, since I basically just wanted to try out a cheap filament. As I said, I will update this review after a few runs in case my experience and opinion changes later on.
