And I've tried MANY filters. Holds more sediment than any other filter I've used! I can definitely say that the flow rate on this style is better than the spin/glue style and it lasts longer since I don't have to change it just because of the flow rate reduction. String/bound filters are very effective at capturing smaller particles, but I still use a bank of 3 filters. I use this, then a gradient of 25-1 micron, and then 1 micron. Keeps flow rate at peak but goes down to 1 micron because I remove all large particles first so my gradient filter isn't wasted right away. Works perfectly!
