Fits my streamlined Subaru/Thule roof rack although the mounting bolts are slightly longer and the crossbar is only held in place by grommets at the ends, not behind the center steel mounting plate racks . While it appears to be firmly connected to the handlebars, the surface area providing traction isn't as great if your car has faired handlebars. Should be fine for short trips to a lake or pond, but I wouldn't go cross-country kayaking at highway speeds. You get what you pay for and it's still a pretty good deal at this price point, hence the 5 star rating. You won't find a better $50 folding stand.
