Review on DCIGNA Electric Tea Kettle - Portable Stainless Steel Travel Kettle 🔵 for Coffee & Tea - 0.5L, Auto Shut-off, Fast Boiling - Dark Blue by Carol Long

I needed a replacement for my 0.5 liter kettle which broke recently so I decided to give this one a try. I wanted black but there was no choice so I ordered dark blue. To be honest I have no idea if it's dark blue or black because it's so dark. He looks black. Anyway, I'm happy with the color. It's funny, the box says "white". I'm just glad I got what I ordered even though the packaging is mislabeled. It heats up very quickly. The nose pours well. The kettle is small and light. The elastic band around the lid keeps it securely in place while cooking. Easy to clean. I am happy with my purchase. Some reviews talked about the smell of plastic when cooking. This only happened on the very FIRST use, which I believe is due to the product being new. It doesn't smell like plastic all the time when in use, at least that hasn't been the case in my experience. I am completely comfortable with this item knowing that the plastic will not leach into the water as the entire interior is stainless steel where the water boils.
