It goes without saying that a clean tip makes the soldering process that much cleaner and helps you do a decent job. This product is an indispensable tool for me. It does its job very well. Solder residues are disposed of in the removable base after each cleaning. Luckily, you can easily remove the canister to clean out the dirt that has built up over time. Because the brass sponge is actually softer than the tip itself, there's no risk of damaging it. The all-metal body is very light, which may bother some as it may tip over during use. There are non-slip foams in the base, but they don't work very well. However, I solved this problem by installing it on a compact soldering station with screws. The material that makes up this product is thin, and it is also very easy to bend by hand. Not a big deal, but I would have preferred something thicker. When I picked it up I didn't expect it to be so big. I was concerned about the size because, as I mentioned earlier, it had to be installed on a fixed base with limited space. Regardless, I got the purifier exactly how I wanted it. A little more than we would like, but no problems with soldering. Last but not least, it should be mentioned that the whole thing can be easily disassembled, since neither the base nor the body have threaded surfaces to hold on to. Place.
