Review on Dorman 800 993 Line Terminator Block by Kody Bradley

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Tools: two 8 " adjustable wrenches and a pipe cutter

The nut (red) and bolt (silver) are 1" to 5/8". At 3/8 " it is 1" and 7/8". Instead of a pipe cutter, a hacksaw blade should do the trick. Box and open-end wrenches are probably ideal, but I got the job done with two 8-inch adjustable wrenches. The recommended torque is 18-20 ft-lbs. This requires a 1" socket on the side of the bolt, but I had trouble getting used to using a torque wrench. at the end of the screw and adjustable at the end of the nut. seemed shaky. You might want to do some exercise to get a feel for 20 foot pounds. Then just use regular keys. I probably overdid it. I will comment more after adding the coolant. I also had to find a way to support the pipes after they were cut.

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
