I received the set as a gift and am very happy with this set. The kit includes everything you need to make container candles. If you're trying to make candles that you pour in and out, you'll need a different type of wax. As the wax hardens, it can either shrink (and therefore expand out of the mold) or remain flush with the walls of the container it was poured into (ideal for container candles, but not ideal for molds). The hardened wax in this kit will be a little soft after adding the oil flavor. You can easily add coloring, but white wax also looks finished. We ended up using wax to pour into blue jars and the end result was very pretty and glowed for many hours. Premium Crucible. This is a great gift and an interesting hobby. You will end up wanting to pour the wax into every container in your house. Please note that the wax provided can only be used to make a couple of small candles or one large one (we filled two pint glasses about 2/3 full). You can buy wax online or at craft stores like Michael's. If you have expensive candles in beautiful containers that are almost burned out, you can save the beautiful container and refill them with this kit.
