This thing worked perfectly. The first time, make sure you have the hat properly fitted inside so that it fits your face as desired. It took 8 minutes. 2. Installation at 10 o'clock with maximum internal delay and maximum sensitivity. The lens stayed clear until I started welding, then went dark immediately and stayed dark until I stopped. Sometimes the welding lasts about a minute, and the whole time it stays dark. I had no issues with it pulsing or staying dark for a second like others have said. Absolutely no complaints on my part with this product.
