Loved that it effectively auto dims as soon as the arc strikes rather than a millisecond later. It's very safe. I let it charge in the sun before using it. I wish they would make the group a little bigger but that's my only problem. My eyes are protected and it works right out of the box.

After almost 10 years of not welding and picking up again, I was just looking for a welding helmet to get the job done, not a fancy 150+ helmet per dollar and for Der Price I think you will have a hard time finding a better helmet. For me it does the job and the graphics are fun no matter how much my wife thinks I'm an idiot. Of course you don't have the same fit as more expensive helmets, but if you want a quality helmet at a reasonable price I would recommend it to anyone.

Great helmet. Excellent price. Yes, I'm brand new to welding. But it's a great helmet. The automatic dimming works fantastic. I charged it by keeping it under the kitchen light during the day. This thing worked perfectly. The first time, make sure you have the hat properly fitted inside so that it fits your face as desired. It took 8 minutes. 2. Installation at 10 o'clock with maximum internal delay and maximum sensitivity. The lens stayed clear until I started welding, then went dark immediately and stayed dark until I stopped. Very disappointed with this mask. looks good and feels good, but there is one major disadvantage that can be very dangerous for your eyes. Automatic dimming does not work for a long time.
