They work exactly as expected and at the best price on all stainless steel recessed connectors. I now have two of these and plan to buy two more over time. All threads are well tapped and will work with standard fittings. Check valves can be easily removed if necessary and all parts are easy to service. I've modified mine to be used on one with ball lock fittings (this allows me to hook up a direct keg sampling valve to the ball lock disc) and with a John Guest pusher to hook up fittings on the other and both have worked flawlessly so far .
