Although the hammer looks well built it doesn't have a plastic tip meaning a person could injure themselves rubbing against it. While the mounting system allows for some customization, the reality is (in most cases) the device must be installed in the up position, again presenting a risk of injury from the exposed tip. Also, the mounting kit cannot be installed on my car door pocket because the gap is too big even if the screw is fully tightened. Life Hammer must have plastic tips on all hammers and offer a hammer at a lower price - no mounting kit - as an option.
