Review on OEMTOOLS 22613 Inch Pliers Cutters by Richard Muncy

Revainrating 2 out of 5

I chose Hit Two

$10-$20 needle nose pliers which I would classify as mid-range. Other pliers in this price range are durable tools. For DIYers and other occasional customers, this type of tool may be all you will ever need. But to get four or five stars in this class, a tool has to do its job: not fancy, but useful and durable. I tried two of these 6 inch pliers from OEM Tools. But I sent it back for the same reason. The tongs should open and close easily. -in etc. couldn't get over the lack of clearance to take full advantage of the pliers hinge due to the hinge being misaligned. Here are the four and five star mid-range long noses I recommend: Gear Wrench, Greenlee, Channel Lock, Crescent, JH Williams. This OEM Tools tool gets two stars and is not recommended.

Pros
  • Precision machined jaws for precise grip and maximum durability
Cons
  • Some small things
