Well designed oil filter
Appears to be a good product. Use in a 2012 Jetta 2.5L with Mobil 1 Extended Performance Oil guaranteed for 15,000 miles. This year I changed the oil at 12,500km and the filter looked fine, got dirty but nothing broke or anything suspicious. Short update: (08/20/2017) Just changed the oil again, this time exactly 15k miles. . This is my third time using this oil filter. There is no collapse. The oil was still dark brown. Excellent goods. I always change the air filter at the same time. The Fram CA10085 is a good filter for just under $7.
